An analyst has reiterated his Hold on Apple's stock, maintaining his $40 price target, as he is concerned about "slowing growth and high investor expectations".

American Technology Research analyst Shaw Wu is generally positive however. He notes the possibility of "good growth" in Apple's Mac business and a "well-positioned" situation in the MP3 player market, writes The Mac Observer.

Wu also outlines his thoughts about recent rumours that Apple is readying 2GB and 4GB iPod shuffles. He discounts the idea of a 4GB shuffle, but believes Apple may have a 2GB iPod shuffle with an LCD screen but without a click wheel, or a 2GB iPod mini up its sleeve.
