Hip hop icon 50 Cent is reportedly attempting to cut a deal with Apple Computer to jointly produce a new low-cost computer for inner-city kids.

An AllHipHop.com report states that 50 Cent and his manager Curtis Lighty are attempting to cut a branding deal with Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

"I'm creating a foundation that will be around for a long time, because fame can come and go or get lost in the lifestyle and the splurging," Fifty Cent explained.

"Jobs is setting a new standard in the music business," Lighty added. "Let's just say we get each other."

The report cites an original article from Forbes magazine as its source.
