Apple continues its focus on the digital hub, announcing a series of demo days in the Manchester area from March 8-9, 15-16 and 22-23.

The company is hosting a series of in-store demos in conjunction with its key Manchester resellers. Apple will focus on its digital lifestyle products, iTunes 3, iPhoto2, iMovie 3 and iDVD 3 during the events.

Apple representatives will be on-hand to demonstrate these solutions on iMacs and 17-inch PowerBooks.

Apple watchers claim that the move may be connected with rumours that the company is preparing to install its own trained staff in key retail locations in order to address complaints that staff - particularly those at PC World - always recommend PCs over Macs.

Participating resellers include: AppleCentre Warrington; Dixons Manchester; GBM Manchester; John Lewis,Cheadle; Manchester Mac Centre; Manchester's two Micro Anvikas; and PC Worlds in Stockport, Manchester, Oldham and Bolton.
