As the new iMac appears in stores around the USA, it is leaving a trail of disbelief behind it.

Customers at an Apple Store in Cambridge, USA won't believe that there isn't a component or two hidden under a table.

The store has been flooded with enquiries, according to Apple Store assistant manager Nikki Veneziano. "We've been getting 50 to 75 calls a day just to see if we have them since the day it was announced,'' she said.

Since the iMac was unveiled on August 31, this adds up to 1,500 phone callers, more than half of whom, according to the store, are potential switchers, reports the Boston Herald.
