Adobe has now removed the update described in this story due to "installation problems".

Adobe has updated InDesign to version 2.0.2.

The update addresses issues identified in InDesign 2.0.1. These include an incompatibility which caused InDesign to quit when launching on Mac OS X when AutoProtect is enabled in Norton AntiVirus.

Other compatibility issues addressed by the update include making the Undo and Quit options function correctly after the user drags a file from the Finder or another application over an InDesign document window, and a text formatting issue identified when placing Word, Excel and RTF documents.

Performance and printing issues have also been addressed. A detailed summary of resolved issues is available within the ReadMe document contained in the update download.

This update is for Mac OS 9.1, 9.2.x and OS X 10.1-10.2.x.
