Dancer Mandy Coulton won worldwide fame as one of the dancers at the centre of hundreds of iPod ads worldwide - but reckons she can't afford her own Apple music player.

Coulton's silhouette has been used in product publicity across the planet. An LA resident, she was paid $1,500 for her three-hours work on the campaign.

"I would like one – but $400 for an iPod is too much for me at the moment," Mandy told The New York Post.

"I can't justify spending that much money when I have day-to-day stuff to pay for like the car and rent."

She works as a nanny part-time while she waits for her dancing career to take-off.
