Yet another Far East maker is upbeat, though secretive, on its iPod connection.

Based in Taiwan, SDRAM memory specialist Etron Technology saw November's business climb 200 per cent year-on-year and reckons it's confident for the next quarter.

DigiTimes reveals a connection with Apple for the company that involved Etron supplying memory for some iPods, presumably the video-enabled model, though this is not specified in the report.

The company refuses to confirm the connection, but is reported to also have orders from Spansion and leading LCD manufacturers in the region to enjoy.
