Analysts continue to fret that Apple may sell fewer than anticipated iPods in its current quarter.

Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster is concerned that Apple may sell eight million, while Wall Street consensus estimates favour 8.6 million music player sales.

The analyst figured out the eight million estimate by looking at previous iPod sales patterns, and subtracting 10 per cent.

Despite his slight concern at potential soft iPod sales, he expects them to pick up in May and June. He rates Apple stock as an 'outperform' with a $99 target price.
