Apple has released iSync 1.0 Beta.

This application is for synchronizing address books and calendars with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, PDAs (personal digital assistants), and the iPod.

Apple advises that as the beta software may be incomplete, it may not function correctly all the time. Before installing any beta software, users should backup important files.

The iSync 1.0 Beta download contains two components: iSync Installer which includes the main iSync application, and software for mobile phone, iPod, and .Mac synchronization and the iSync Palm Installer, which includes software to synchronize Palm OS-based devices using HotSync technology.

Online help is available.

iSync is available as a free download and requires Mac OS X 10.2.
