Apple has updated its iSync software to version 1.4, introducing iPod mini support to the application.

The update is available for download using Software Update and also for direct download from the Apple site.

The updated application now offers calendar, contact, and to-do synchronization for the Nokia 6600, 3620, 3660 and Siemens SX1 phones. With these models iSync also synchronizes the Address Book picture to the contact info, so you can see a picture of the caller when the phone rings. Mac users in Japan can now also sync over 110 Japanese mobile phones when they purchase a third-party USB cable.

Apple warns that Mac OS X 10.2.x (Jaguar) users should download Bluetooth 1.3.4. Mac OS X 10.3.x (Panther) users should download Bluetooth 1.5. Users should also have iCal 1.5.1 installed.
