Apple's iTunes advert will be screened on UK television "in the next few weeks", the company says.

The ad for iTunes - Apple's desktop-jukebox software - features musical celebrities including Barry White, George Clinton, Liz Phair, Steve Harwell, De La Soul, Ziggy Marley, Chuck Berry, Dwight Yoakam, Exene Cervenka, Iggy Pop and Deep Dish.

The 60-second advert has already debuted in the US with showings on the WN and NBC television networks. The ad is available to view on Apple's Web site.

iTunes, which has a built-in, single-session CD-authoring capacity has been downloaded more than 750,000 times since its January release.
