Harry Potter fans can take their ears on a trip to Hogwarts, with news that audiobooks of the entire series are now available through iTunes.

In what Apple describes as an "exclusive" deal, the entire Harry Potter audiobook series is now available through iTunes, including the latest release, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".

Customers can either download individual audiobooks or the complete Harry Potter Digital Box Set which includes a full colour digital booklet as well as readings from author J.K. Rowling.

In a move that builds on the U2 deal, Harry Potter fans can also purchase the complete Harry Potter Digital Box Set together with a Collector's Edition 20GB iPod engraved with the Hogwarts crest.

"We are honoured that J.K. Rowling has picked iTunes for the debut of the Harry Potter audiobook series," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "We're delighted to be able to bring these wonderful and wildly popular stories to iTunes Music Store customers."

Individual audiobooks from the Harry Potter series cost between £17.95 (including VAT) to £50.95 (incuding VAT), and the Harry Potter Digital Box Set cost £195 (also inclusive).
