Apple chief designer Jonathan Ive and CEO Steve Jobs feature in Q Magazine's poll of the most powerful people in music.

Jobs and Essex-born Ive – the iPod's designer – were both ranked second behind Eminem.

The Sun meanwhile reports that "nerdy Jonathan was chosen because of the impact the tiny iPod has had on the world's music-buying public since its launch in 2001."

Other music industry faces to figure in the poll included, Universal Music's Doug Morris, Sony's Sir Howard Stringer, U2s Bono, and Coldplay's Chris Martin.
