Apple has released a Java update for Mac OS X v10.3.9.

The update is available for download using Software Update and from Apple’s website.

It aims to fix certain Java flaws in Mac OS X 10.3.9 that were revealed last week: "After updating to Mac OS X 10.3.9, some systems may have issues with Java applications and Java-enabled websites when using Safari. Safari may unexpectedly quit, and stand-alone Java applications may unexpectedly quit or not launch. This update resolves that issue," said Apple.
