Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, will deliver the opening keynote address at the Macworld Conference and Expo, San Francisco, 2001, Apple has confirmed.

He will make his speech at 9am Pacific Time (4pm UK time) on January 9 at the Moscone Centre.

IDG Expo, who organize the event have already warned exhibitors that they expected the show to break all records. Charlie Greco, IDG Expo CEO, said: ""The interest in Macworld is growing daily."

Macworld Expo offers dedicated exhibitor sections covering the gamut of Macintosh technologies and applications. These include areas and workshops for education, application development, entertainment, small office/home office and Internet-based environments.
