Kodak has released a tiny digital camera, the DC3800.

The 2.3 megapixel, £300 camera weighs 165g (without batteries). Images are previewed on the 1.5 inch colour display. It delivers prints up to 8-x-10 inches in size, and offers a 2x digital zoom and an auto flash. The camera comes with a USB CompactFlash card reader to upload images.

The DC3800 offers close up for detailed images, and a burst mode for capturing action sequences. It can capture two seconds (four frames) of movement in burst mode. Image resolution is 1,792-x-1,184 at best, and 895-x-592 as standard. The camera offers automatic exposure, white-balance control, and a variable shutter speed.

This "ultra-portable" digital camera is 95mm wide, 61mm deep and 33mm high. It weighs 215g with the batteries installed.
