Of her work, she explains: "My songs examine and explore little specific emotions or situations or stories," she explains. "They're kitchen table songs, like a conversation between me and one other person. Q Magazine wrote: “Tunstall has Norah Jones’ throaty catch, Dido’s warmth, plus a winning way with a soaring chorius.”
The Chinese/Scottish artist has been nominated for a Mercury Music Prize, and her new single, “Suddenly I See”, ships in the UK the day before her Apple Store gig (August 22).
This is a rare chance to see a leading new artist perform in London this summer. Apple warns music fans to “arrive early as seating will be limited”.
An audio and video feed available to a limited number of people on the ground floor. The Genius Bar will be closed for normal business from 7pm until the store closes on the day.
