Maya developer Alias has confirmed it will once again hold its 3December event in London.

The company holds the 3D-focused event at multiple locations worldwide each year. This year's event will offer a series of Maya Masterclasses and an evening of "world-class" computer graphics presentations.

The masterclasses are one and a half hours long and look at specific features of the high-end cross-platform 3D application, Maya. There will also be an exhibitors' hall and more.

Last year's event attracted up to 1,000 3D professionals, including Bournemouth University senior lecturer in computer graphics Lucy Childs, who told Macworld: "I got my job as a result of coming to a 3D event in 2000."

Registration for the UK event is open now. Admission is free. It takes place at The Bridge SE1 in London.
