Japanese Apple fans will be able to pick up Lucky Bags from Apple Stores in Japan on Wednesday. The contents of the bag will be a mystery - shoppers pay around £240 and could pick up a MacBook Air, or it might just be a t-shirt and headphones.

Apple will sell Lucky Bags at its Japanese stores on Wednesday 2 January, part of a tradition in that country.

TechInAsia reports that the Lucky Bags are likely to sell out quickly, so shoppers will start queuing early.

In the UK Apple is still giving away Apps, music and more on a daily basis as part of its 12 Days of Christmas campaign. Today’s giveaway is Sonic Jump from Sega, visit Macworld UK every day to find out what the next goodie is.
