Apple will be making new software – .Mac Address Book – available on January 7, according to a posting on its .Mac Web site.

MacMinute reports that the online address book will work with iSync, its application for address books and calendars with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, PDAs, and the iPod, so all key contact information, including addresses and phone numbers can be kept up to date.

The launch of the new software will coincide with start of Macworld Expo, which takes place at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, from January 7 to 10.
