Apple has posted Mac OS X 10.3.8, an update that "delivers improved compatibility and reliability for Mac OS X v.10.3", according to the release notes.

The company has also posted a server version of the update.

Apple claims the client update includes improvements to: OpenGL technology; file sharing and directory services for mixed Mac and PC networks; compatibility for third party applications and devices; and updated ATI and NVIDIA graphics drivers.

The server update features improved reliability of Open Directory replication and PDC authentication; more reliable binding to Active Directory domains; and improved compatibility for third party applications and devices, says Apple.

Both updates also include all previous standalone security update. They are available from Software Update.

There are four versions. The server update is 27MB, or a combo server update combining all previous updates is 125MB. The client update is 27.7MB, or the combo update is 103MB.
