Niemeijer Consulting has announced KeyStrokes 3 and SwitchXS 1.0.

KeyStrokes 3.0 is a major update to the virtual on-screen keyboard solution for Mac OS X. It is scheduled for release in May, and will include a revolutionary new word-prediction engine.

Anyone who buys KeyStrokes 1.5 for OS 9 and OS X will be offered a free upgrade.

SwitchXS 1.0 is a OS X-compatible utility for motor-impaired users who cannot use a mouse or keyboard. It offers full mouse and keyboard emulation by means of a scanning mode.

SwitchXS has customizable settings to allow users or therapists to adapt any application to their needs. The product costs £150 and is expected to be released this summer. A demo is available for download.
