MacExpo plans a dedicated Mac event in Amsterdam in 2005.

"We are planning a show at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam next year", MacExpo event organiser Bob Denton told Macworld.

The new European event takes place on April 19-21 at Amsterdam's RAI Centre. The organisers are co-locating with the business-focused TINE event there. TINE is an ICT and networking show.

"Tine gets 10-15,000 business users," he said. The terms of the co-location deal are still being worked on, and would involve limited entry to TINE.

Denton also observed that in recent years Apple has begun participating in a wider range of exhibitions. "You see the company at more and more events," he said.

MacExpo also runs in Cologne.
