The UK's independently run MacExpo 2001 organizers have announced the release of an additional 3,000 free tickets for visitors to the show.
MacExpo originally released 3,000 tickets for visitors, but these have been swiftly taken up through the online registration programme.
Show director Bob Denton said: "Since our online registration opened, we have been incredibly excited by the response to our free ticket offer, prompting us to extend this offer by a further 3,000 free tickets. We encourage potential attendees to register quickly to ensure their free tickets online."
Euro cancellation MacExpo recently announced that Apple is to exhibit at the show. With the cancellation of Apple Expo, Paris, the show becomes Europe's only publicised, general interest Mac event. Apple will be joined by a wide collection of other luminaries from the UK Mac-industry, including Iomega, LaCie, Macromedia, Epson and Microtek. More exhibitors are due to be announced.
The event runs from Thursday, November 22 to Saturday 24 at Islington's Business Design Centre. The show guide will be produced by Macworld UK in a show of its support for the UK Macintosh community. The standard admission fee is £10.
