MacExpo 2002 organizers have announced details of the event – promising more seminars and product discounts.

The UK's biggest independently-run Mac event takes place at London’s Business Design Centre in Islington from November 21-21. Apple will attend this year's event, organisers have confirmed.

Apple will both demonstrate its products, and run continuous theatre-style presentations. Other confirmed exhibitors include LaCie, Microsoft, Iomega, Hewlett-Packard, Xerox, Hermstedt, Oki Systems, Sony and Gasteiner.

Organisers are promising show launches for monitors, printers, software and hardware, as well as show-only offers and discounts. There will also be workshops for professional users, and free seminars for pro and home users, with subjects including movie making and DVD authoring.

Apple representatives will lead the seminars, with a panel of experts being drawn from show exhibitors. Full details will be published on the MacExpo Web site shortly.

Show director Richard Hease said: "We listen to and respond to our audience. Attendees wanted seminars, so this year some great sessions offer another reason to visit MacExpo 2002."

Show registration is now open. Tickets cost £5 in advance, or £10 on the door. There is a reduce rate for children.
