Apple plans to introduce iPod in the UK at MacExpo in November.

The company's state-of-the-art MP3 device also goes on sale on November 22, the first day of MacExpo - which runs until November 24 at Islington's Business Design Centre.

iPod, which saw a six per cent price hike yesterday due to an error in setting the original price, will now cost £349 (inc. VAT). It was originally priced at £329.

MacExpo will feature an array of product introductions, and a chance to see a variety of solutions from manufacturers and service providers across the gamut of the UK Mac industry. The event will also be the UK Mac-using publics opportunity to take a look at Apple's improved PowerBook G4s and iBooks.

Registration is still open at the MacExpo 2001 Web site. Full details of what's on show at MacExpo will be contained in the official Show Guide for the event. This will be integrated inside Macworld's Expo issue, which goes on sale from November 8.
