Apple UK has published a case-study looking at composer Steven Faux’s use of the company’s technology to meet a demanding BBC deadline.
Using a dual 1GHz Power Mac G4, Faux was contracted to produce the score for the recently aired, ‘Arthur, King of the Britons’. Using Emagic’s Logic Audio, Faux met the deadline.
Praising the CPU advances of his new system, Faux said: “The jump-in level from my 7200 is like when I went from the Atari to the Mac six years ago.”
The article concludes: “I hardly use all these expensive synths and samplers in my rack any more.”
