Apple is targeting the youth market by showcasing software at the World Cup Skateboarding Event.

Billed as the UK's biggest ever skate event, the World Cup Skateboarding Event will be held from August 11-12 at London's Docklands. The two-day event features hip-hop DJs and skateboarding competitions.

Apple plans to showcase iTunes and iMovie at the event. In keeping with the event's theme, TonyHawk's Pro Skater 2 - a skateboarding game for the Mac - will also be demonstrated by Apple.

Last year's event sold out, so organisers UBI advise booking now. Tickets for under 16s are £8. Adult tickets cost £12 and family tickets are priced at £32.
