Apple hardware's ease of use is driving sales in India and Malaysia according to the managing director of Apple South Asia.

India and Malaysia are Apple's fastest growing markets in the Asia Pacific region. "Part of this reason is the ease of use that’s associated with Apple machines," said Albert Lam.

By October, Apple plans to introduce Apple Centres to India in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

"We will set up these centres based on a study that we’re conducting," Lam told Hoovers online.

"We’d like to focus on increasing our presence in large cities, before moving down the line to smaller towns in India" he added.

Apple claim that worldwide, 30 per cent of Wintel users change to the Mac platform after trying out a machine.
