The winners of this year's most prestigious Mac industry awards were announced at a glittering black tie event last night.

Each year Macworld's editors decide what the finest products of the last 12 months have been across different industry sectors; professional creative, consumer and Apple's own offerings.

Macworld readers also vote for what they see as the products of the year. The products with the most number of votes in each category were put up for nomination, and the product with the highest number of votes was declared victorious.
