The 2002 Macworld Awards was held on June 21 in the sumptuous grounds of the Queen’s House at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London.
The Awards were hosted by Macworld Editor-in-Chief Simon Jary and movie-icon and self-confessed “a technosaurus with an Apple laptop" Richard E Grant (star of ‘Withnail and I’, ‘How to Get Ahead in Advertising’, ‘The Player’, Hudson Hawk’, ‘L.A. Story’, ‘Dracula’, ‘Gosford Park’, and many more).
Winners included: Apple, Epson, Adobe, Macromedia, Hermstedt, Xante, HP, Microspot, Hi-Resolution. Microsoft, Infrogrames and MacWarehouse.
