Voting for the Macworld Readers' Choice Awards for 2006 has now closed, with over 2,000 votes cast for Best Hardware, Best Software and Best UK reseller. A special award to mark Apple's 30th anniversary celebrates the most important event in the company's history.

The Editors' Choice Awards nominations were announced last month.

Winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony on June 29 at the Royal Courts of Justice, London.
