American Technology Research analyst Shaw Wu now expects new iPod nanos will ship in November and boast a new magnesium non-scratch casing.
In a note to client he recommends Apple's stock, and continues to warn that production problems have delayed the launch of the new music players. "We believe new nanos will sport new magnesium-based casing that will improve scratch-resistance and durability," he writes.
Wu also believes a new Power Mac-replacement will appear at WWDC in August.
"With respect to Steve Jobs' track record and element of surprise, we are prepared to see something that no one anticipated," the analyst opines, rating Apple a 'Buy' with a $75 target price.
