An International Mac Meetup Day is being organized so Mac fanatics across the world can chew the Mac fat.

On Tuesday, May 13 Mac enthusiasts from Chattanooga to Copenhagen will gather to discuss whatever grabs their fancy – from Mac OS X and the digital hub, to what Apple CEO Steve Jobs will be wearing in his next keynote.

Meetup is a free online service that organizes local interest groups globally. To date, more than 250,000 people have already signed up for Meetups, covering 1,037 topics in 545 cities across 34 countries.

UK Mac Meetups will be held in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. From April 22, the public will be able to vote on Mac Meetup locations.
