iView Multimedia will exhibit its recently-updated MediaPro 1.5.6 application at MacExpo.

MediaPro is best described as a media-asset management solution. It can handle a wide variety of digital-media files – images, MP3s, fonts, movies and sounds, for example.

This release introduces support for Fuji’s RAW image-file format. RAW is the basic format images are captured into by digital cameras before being translated into other formats, such as JPEG. RAW captures a great deal of information, and its files tend to be large.

Other improvements in this release include: improved drag-&-drop between catalogues; updated batch rename and annotate tools; and HTML-export support for QuickTime ActiveX on Windows Web browsers.

Downloading images to disc has also been improved.

Existing users of the application can upgrade for free, the product costs £65. The company will be at stand 965.
