Apple has announced two free seminars for medical imaging professionals on June 20.
The company claims that Mac OS X has recently helped in the development of a range of innovative medical imaging applications. Apple points out that recent advances in digital technology have generated major changes to traditional industry practices.
Attendees will be offered a demonstration of award-winning Mac-based medical imaging application OsiriX. The demonstration will be given by professor Osman Ratib of the Geneva University Hospital, one of the creators of OsiriX.
The two sessions (one at 9.30am, the other at 1pm) take place at Apple's Executive Briefing Centre in London on June 20.
