Apple and Microsoft have renewed their existing font licensing agreement. The move means Mac users can continue to use core Windows fonts, including Times New Roman, Arial and Verdana.

The deal also means web surfers won't have to face missing fonts on web pages, and web designers can specify fonts knowing that their documents, presentations and pages will appear as they are meant to be seen.

The two firms announced their font ageement at TypeCont 2007 last night.
