The US's biggest mobile phone service provider is said to be considering selling Motorola's iTunes enabled mobile phone.

An unnamed source told Reuters: "Motorola and Apple have been talking to Cingular about it using the iTunes phone."

Reuters adds that RBC Capital analyst Mark Sue recently revealed that Apple and Cingular were working out final details on revenue sharing.

When Motorola delayed showing its iTunes phone at trade shows earlier this year there were rumours that there was a lack of interest from carriers, Motorola has denied that this is the case.
