Malia Software has released the beta version of MP3 Streamer.

MP3 Stream 1.0b1 is a server application that enables Macs to stream MP3-audio files to other computers on the Internet or a local area network.

Users can broadcast their own music on the Internet. They are able to listen to it with any MP3 player that supports this feature, such as SoundJam, Audio, MacAmp or WinAmp.

Malia has released development versions of MP3 Streamer to the public before, but this version features a new user-interface and a connected-user list that includes IP addresses and time of connection.

Alexandre Carlhian, a developer for Malia Software, has halved the registration fee for MP3 Streamer. The software can be bought online at http://order.kagi.com.
