Apple CEO Steve Jobs finally met the needs of Apple’s European users during yesterday’s keynote speech, revealing that photo print ordering from within iPhoto will be available here in March.

This follows three long years of hard campaigning by Europe’s Mac media and Apple’s users here, and means that later this year we will enjoy full feature parity for this key iLife product with Apple’s fortunate US customers.

Revealing the move, Jobs uttered a rare apology: “Sorry it took us so long,” he said.

iPhoto users will also be able to order the leather-bound books of digital images – a feature available in the US since version 1.

Japanese Mac users can access these features as soon as they get iLife 04, while Europeans must wait until March.
