Apple has extended its X for Teachers programme to all European Primary and Secondary school teachers effective from today.
The scheme means qualifying educators can from today pick up a free copy of Mac OS X 10.2.
Apple's vice president and general manager Pascal Cagni said: "We are excited to bring X for Teachers to Europe following the success in the US, where almost 300,000 educators have claimed their copy of Mac OS X 10.2.
"Offering every primary and secondary school teacher in Europe the opportunity to experience OS X and learn how Apple's new operating system will benefit their working and teaching environment strongly reinforces Apple's commitment to the education market."
Qualifying teachers can apply online for their own copy of the X for Teachers kit. The deal is available until March 31, 2002.
