Apple will host a gathering of European journalists at he BBC TV Studios during is Macworld San Francisco keynote next week.

"Please join us on 15 January at 5pm for a special live satellite broadcast of Steve Jobs' keynote address from Macworld San Francisco," the company says in a message to the media.

That Apple will offer journalists a chance to watch the keynote as it happens, hosted at a venue it frequently employs in order to host the European end of its most major announcements is bound to increase the frequency of pre-keynote gossip.

Meanwhile giant consumer electronics show CES begins today, seemingly hosting a tidal wave of iPod-related announcements.
