More evidence has emerged to support claims Apple will launch a flash-based iPod at Macworld Expo tomorrow.

Italian Mac journalists from MacCity.net claim to have seen the device, and have partial images of the billboards advertising the new product being put in place at the Macworld Expo venue, San Francisco’s Moscone Center.

It’s claimed the product will carry 1GB of songs. The product’s slogan is “Life is random”, which the site speculates is because the new iPod it saw has no screen to control tracks.

Describing the device, the report says: “It is without any screen, small, with a shape more vertical than the other iPods. The colour is white, and it seems like a small remote control that fits comfortably in a single hand.”
