Griffin Technology has launched a must-have device for users seeking a way to integrate their iPod into cars with older car audio systems, SmartDeck.
This is an iPod adapter that fits into the cassette deck, with technology built-in that the company claims lets users control their music player using their car's cassette player. It means the cassette players fast-forward, rewind, play and pause buttons should control the music on the iPod.
This product is expected to ship during the second quarter and will cost $24.99.
The company also introduced its Xpress Stand for AirPort Express. This elevates Apple's electric socket-mounted wireless network hub, which means it enjoys a better range. It also makes the AirPort Express status light easier to see from a distance. This product costs $24.99.
