Miglia Technology has announced the tiny TVMini HD.

The small gadget lets users watch, pause record and rewind HDTV on a Mac, and uses Elgato's award-winning EyeTV software. It ships with its own TV aerial and a remote control.

EyeTV software lets user watch, record, edit and archive television on the Mac. It records programmes to a Mac's hard drive, and lets users pause live TV at will.

It will archive shows to DVD, SVCD or VideoCD to play on most standard DVD players. It will also export transmissions to an iPod, PSP, iMovie HD, iDVD, or DVD Studio.

Miglia Technology CEO Simon Ellson said: "Miglia's TVMini HD combined with EyeTV will change the way you watch and record HDTV on your Mac."

Miglia is running a competition at Macworld San Francisco. The product costs $249. UK pricing hasn't yet been announced.
