As Macworld Expo approaches, Apple’s mid-range music creation product, Soundtrack, has been removed from sale.

All mentions of the product as a standalone retail offering have been removed from the Apple Store. Information about the product on Apple’s UK Web site still offers a ‘Buy Now’ button, but clicking it leads to the store’s front page where the standalone product cannot be found.

AppleInsider last week reported that Soundtrack had been declared “end-of-life” by the company, speculating that its technologies would be rolled into its Logic and GarageBand products.
