The three winners of the MyDreamApp contest were revealed last night.

The winning entries include, in third place, Michael Yuan's Cookbook application; in second place, Farzad Sadjadi's Portal and, taking first in the huge international application visualisation competition, Cameron Westland's Atmosphere.

All winners receive a MacBook and 15 per cent royalties on sales of their application, once it has been developed and released.

Three runners-up have also been revealed: Dan Lundmark's, Blossom; Richard Whitelock's Whistler and Kevin Capizzi's Hijack. Each application imagineer will receive a Mac mini.

The final round of votes attracted nearly 14,000 votes. The MyDreamApp team will now begin developing the winning applications.
