NBC has chosen to use iTunes Music Store to premiere its new legal drama 'Conviction'.

The primetime show will be available at no charge and in advance of its TV screening. US users can download the one-hour-long pilot show for free.

The show will be available until it screens on March 3, after which each episode will be made available the day after it is shown for $1.99 per episode.

"We believe we have a youthful and energetic cast that should appeal to a new audience increasingly comfortable with this downloadable format as a viewing option and we want to reach out to these viewers," NBC Entertainment Group CEO Jeff Zucker told The Hollywood Reporter.
