Subband software has released AMP Radio, software that lets Macintosh users tune into Internet radio stations through the Shoutcast and Icecast protocols.

The $10, car radio-styled AMP Radio has 10 station pre-sets and a Recent Stations pop-up menu.

Other features include compatibility with MP3 files stored on remote http servers. MP3 files, can be played by being dragged-&-dropped onto the player window.

The station tracker searches by genre, bit-rate, popularity and keywords. It also has a record function.

Subband has also released Entheogen, providing music-synchronized visuals.
