Hermstedt is preparing to release a wireless version of its NetShuttle DSL product.

The improved NetShuttle supports 802.11b, the 11Mbps wireless standard Apple employed in its original AirPort offerings. This means users can employ the product to share ADSL connections wirelessly.

NetShuttle is a high-speed ADSL router that lets multiple computers share an ADSL line. It integrates firewall protection, and offers a user-friendly browser-like interface to help users set-up the technology.

Product pricing will remain the same at £169 (ex. VAT). Hermstedt is going into production with the upgraded product and is accepting pre-orders now.

Other features include an ADSL router for ethernet, automatic IP address assignment, Mac OS X compatibility.
